A skill is a recipe an AI follows for a task (open SKILL.md format). In KOS there is one copy: Claude Code, Codex and any agent that reads files use the same one. AIs propose improvements; a person approves them. If an approved skill changes without approval, the validator stops it.

Tareas, ideas y listas fluyen libres y siempre se pueden deshacer. Las reglas, las herramientas, el historial de Git y los borrados masivos solo cambian si tú lo apruebas: te llega un email con el cambio exacto (lo agregado en verde, lo borrado en rojo) y un código de un solo uso, y lo confirmas con tu PIN en una terminal. Si el cambio se altera después de pedirlo, deja de valer.
Tasks, ideas and lists flow freely and can always be undone. The rules, the tools, Git history and mass deletions only change if you approve: you get an email with the exact change (additions in green, deletions in red) and a one-time code, and you confirm it with your PIN in a terminal. If the change is altered after being requested, it stops being valid.

No smoke: on your computer, with the AI running as you, the ceiling is level 2: an AI that edits files directly as your user can bypass it, and an AI with administrator rights is not stopped by any of this. That is why KOS includes a tool that tells you which level you really have and an attack test that tries to bypass the barriers.

¿Mis datos se van a algún lado?
KOS no los manda a ningún lado: viven en tu carpeta (y en tu GitHub privado, si lo usas). Cuando una IA los lee, pasan por el servicio de esa IA como cualquier cosa que le escribes; por eso las reglas no guardan claves ni datos sensibles.
¿Necesito saber programar?
No. Puedes pedirle a una IA con acceso a tu computadora (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) que lo instale por ti, o abrir una terminal y pegar un comando siguiendo el manual. Después hablas con tu IA como siempre.
¿Es una app o una suscripción?
Ninguna de las dos. Son archivos de texto y unas herramientas pequeñas que corren en tu computadora.
¿Funciona con ChatGPT o solo con Claude?
Con las dos y con cualquier otra. Las IA con acceso a archivos escriben directo; las de chat te dan un bloque para pegar.
¿Y si la IA hace algo mal?
Todo queda en Git: ves cada cambio y lo deshaces con un comando. El validador frena los errores más comunes y las reglas obligan a la IA a pedirte permiso para lo sensible.

Sí. Un KOS de equipo guarda decisiones y reglas comunes, y cada proyecto tiene su propio manifiesto con permisos y nivel de autonomía. La licencia permite usarlo en el trabajo y con clientes.
¿Puedo evitar que una IA cambie mis reglas sin que lo sepa?
En buena medida, sí, y te decimos hasta dónde. Lo común (tareas, ideas, listas) fluye libre y se puede deshacer. Lo crítico (las reglas, las herramientas, el historial de Git, los borrados masivos) solo cambia con tu aprobación: te llega un email con el cambio exacto y un código, y lo confirmas con tu PIN en una terminal. Hay tres niveles. En tu computadora, con la IA corriendo como tú, avisa, rechaza y pide aprobación (nivel 2), pero una IA que edite archivos directo con tu usuario puede saltearlo. El cerrojo real (nivel 3) pide un servidor Linux y que la IA use un usuario sin privilegios; una IA con permisos de administrador no queda frenada. Una herramienta incluida te dice tu nivel y prueba si las barreras aguantan.
¿Pueden trabajar varias IAs a la vez?

¿Puedo usar las mismas skills en todas mis IAs?

Does my data go anywhere?
KOS sends it nowhere: it lives in your folder (and your private GitHub, if you use it). When an AI reads it, it goes through that AI's service like anything you type to it; that is why the rules never store keys or sensitive data.
Do I need to code?
No. You can ask an AI with access to your computer (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to install it for you, or open a terminal and paste a command following the manual. Then you talk to your AI as usual.
Is it an app or a subscription?
Neither. It's text files plus a few small tools that run on your computer.
Does it work with ChatGPT or only Claude?
Both, and any other. AIs with file access write directly; chat AIs hand you a block to paste.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Everything is in Git: you see every change and undo it with one command. The validator stops the most common mistakes and the rules require the AI to ask you before anything sensitive.
Does it work for a company?
Yes. A team KOS holds shared decisions and rules, and each project has its own manifest with permissions and an autonomy level. The license allows use at work and with clients.
Can I use the same skills in all my AIs?

Can several AIs work at once?

Nothing: it is free. You download it from GitHub, with no account or subscription. The license (PolyForm Shield) lets you use and change it for anything; what you cannot do is sell it or offer it as your own product.
